Doctoral Program in Psychoanalysis (Research of 2014 to 2017).

The doctorate in humanistic psychoanalysis is an initiative of the Humanist Institute of Psychoanalysis, which is currently a member of the Intentional Society of Erich Fromm, with headquarters in Tubingen, Germany. The current headquarters of the Institute of Psychoanalysis is in the city of Santa Maria-RS, which developed this project to provide future psychoanalysts this epistemological chain of humanistic psychoanalysis of Erich Fromm, a course at doctoral level. Because we feel the need to qualify psychoanalysts regarding RESEARCH AND CLINIC, besides offering a course of specialization (Latu Sensu) in Theory and Practice of Humanistic Psychoanalysis, and also the clinical dimension during the process of psychoanalytic training. Our goal proposes that the psychoanalyst can qualify him/herself in the theoretical and epistemological and clinical area, in order to exercise their professional role, and deeply know the  theoretical referential of works of Erich Fromm, sustained in an epistemology that opens space for searching the complexity of the cultural unconscious. The research comes at a transdisciplinary approach due to the complexity emanating from the human psyche. We want a psychoanalyst to develop a more humane and committed knowledge, committed to the social and cultural problems of our Brazilian society. For this psychoanalytical science, within their various theoretical currents may be an important contribution in the preparation of this scientific knowledge, for example; Rollo May, Paul Tillich, Karen Horney, Alfred Adler, Otto Rank, Harry Stack Sullivan, and other psychoanalysts who developed theories In performing this our dream, to enable scientific knowledge in the field of psychoanalysis to the psychoanalysts, who are interested in developing RESEARCH AND EXPAND YTHE HORIZONS OF THEIR CLINICAL PRACTICE. We have several doctor psychoanalysts who compose our faculty to help guide the different approaches of methodology and theoretical epistemology. Even though the margins of institutional control of the Ministry of Education, we want to develop this serious and scholarly work to offer to our society  excellent researchers and analysts to work in the clinic and on the faculty of institutes of psychoanalysis in Brazil and Latin America. The Institute of Humanist Psychoanalysis was founded in January 17, 1997 and since that time it has been improving a maturity in research field and training of humanist psychoanalysts getting international recognition. One of our goals for the year 20l4 is to offer to analysts and professionals in the humanities and social sciences, this socialization of psychoanalytic knowledge, within a transdisciplinary vision, without conceptual orthodoxies; we want that philosophers, theologians, social assistants, teachers, educational psychologists, and other researchers in the fields of humanities have access to scientific knowledge and methodologies to study and interpret the instances of the cultural unconscious. Our intention, besides the formation of humanistic psychoanalyst and qualifying the faculty of institutes of psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic knowledge that can be contemplated within this theoretical and clinical approach as scientists committed to the well being and the health of our Brazilian population. We know that neuroses, phobias, compulsions, obsessions, psychosis, schizophrenia and other mental illnesses need a lot of research and study, to give a response to pain and human suffering. This initiative aims to develop research in the field of drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual deviance, anorexia, bulimia, panic syndrome, sexual abuse, psychosomatic, conversion neuroses, and childhood autism psychosis, socio-pathologies, and all psychopathology that may help society and people working in the area of mental health, to understand by empirical and qualitative research, the source that triggers these psychic pathologies. Our goal is to prepare the future psychoanalyst to develop hia/her theoretical and clinical knowledge sustained a literature or field research. As there are many problems of emotional and organic health that reach a large layer of our marginalized population, and without analytical assistance, we thought it is good to socialize this scientific knowledge to qualify in science all the problems of social and family violence that comes sweeping our country. We want to publish these theses as books, so that interested people like teachers, doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, educational psychologists and all those that work in the social care network, the contribution of scientific research to aid in decreasing psychological distress that affect millions of people. Psychoanalytic science must be related to other disciplines, such as: sociology, education, theology, philosophy, economics, politics, anthropology, biology, medicine, education, neuroscience, law, and other areas of knowledge that may be developing research and theoretical knowledge within a trans-disciplinary, so that we can know the full scope of this unconscious within the study of the unconscious mind. Psychoanalysis is a science of humanity and not for a select group of scientists who support the use of this knowledge only for a group of psychoanalysts, because we understand that the profession of psychoanalyst is not only linked to psychologists and doctors, on the contrary, all professionals have the right to make a psychoanalytic training, since makes this his/her personal analysis, clinical supervision, assistance to patients, analytic group therapy, didactic analysis and other requirements of the training process, which each psychoanalytic society requires, according to their theoretical current. Now we want these psychoanalysts have access to research, and realize their dream to become scientists of "HUMAN PSYCHE", because this whole requirement of reading, finishes developing an intellectual capital for any institution that offers training in psychoanalysis. We want to clarify that the search of integral human unconscious is an instance of theoretical discussion and application of methods to understand and unravel the complex phenomena rooted in a culture of violence and repression of human potentialities, at no time should confuse the psychoanalytic formation, What should happen in training institutes. Nothing replaces the personal analysis, the domain of "clinical analytical praxis" and far less clinical supervision by a didactic analyst. We have no interest in following the standards and requirements of a body of scientists that requires procedures that confront the analytic practice, public universities and regulatory offices of this knowledge, this may not prevent the study and knowledge of the unconscious mind by way of a constituted power state, as if they were holders of the true and unique understanding of this science, who arrogate to themselves the right to be the owners of the truth about what is scientific knowledge. Today more than ever this authoritative practice and monopolies of knowledge, tend to weaken because training institutions in psychoanalysis understand that they need to do a proper, original and unique way, within its theoretical epistemology, and not a single stream established by theoretical power of post graduating in our country. We live and we are in a democracy, and the first commitment of an serious and ethics society and ensure the freedom of research and thinking, besides socializing this knowledge to all citizens who want to know and researching the human psyche out of the requirements of a group of intellectuals that prevent to any cost the access for psychoanalysts to become scientists.
